THE STAGES OF DETOX

If you are switching from antiperspirant to natural deodorant, there will be a transition period.

Week 1: On the first week of the transition, everything seems normal

Week 2: Studies show when you stop using antiperspirant, your body will temporarily produce more odor-causing bacteria. Use the underarm bar to manage the additional odor.

Week 3: Moisture levels start to normalize but some odor may remain.

Week 4: Your body should begin to adjust to using natural deodorant. Continue to use the takesumi detox system.

HOW TO USE

the underarm bar is Step 1 of the takesumi detox^® system for excess odor and sweat protection:

STEP 1: the underarm bar Use the underarm bar in the shower every morning before deodorant application. To maximize the bacteria-eliminating power of the charcoal bar soap, lather the bar and then massage in the underarm area for 20 to 30 seconds on each side. If you have underarm hair, massage for 30 seconds. For best results, let the rich lather sit on the underarms for a while before rinsing off.

STEP 2: the charcoal deodorant Apply a generous layer of the takesumi detox^®charcoal deodorant to clean, dry skin. If you are switching from antiperspirant to natural deodorant, there will be a transition period (see The Stages of Detox).

STEP 3: the sweat powder Apply a generous layer of the sweat powder over top of your deodorant for extra protection against excess perspiration. Precautions: Discontinue use if irritation develops or persists. Do not use on broken skin. Do not use immediately after shaving. Avoid eye contact or inhalation of the sweat powder product.

When should I use the underarm bar?

How long will the soap last?

The charcoal bar soap can last anywhere from 4-6 months. Remember, it is a natural anti-bacterial soap so it should not be left sitting in water.

How can I store the soap?

The charcoal bar soap is manufactured with triple milled technology. You can store the underarm bar on any soap dish, or on top of a shower sponge. A shower sponge can easily absorb the charcoal after moistening the bar.

Perfect Cleansing Underarm Bar

This has been my best cleansing purchase, for my body care, in a very long time. The fragrance is subtle and the underarm bar lathers nicely. Most important, when I'm counting out the seconds of massaging my underarms clean with the underarm bar, I'm actually focused on "me",...nothing else. That's what makes it Perfect!

I’m a believer, it does work

I recently switched to underarm soap bar as part of the underarm “detox”. Quite frankly, I didn’t even know detoxing underarm was a thing. I have to admit that I was wrong, it does work. Follow the instructions for step 1 and 2 and within four weeks, you will notice the transformation. Quite impressive. By going all naturals soap and deodorant, my skin and underarm are much happier

This bar saved me!

Love the underarm bar! It totally wiped away my smell after a couple uses. I pair it with the deodorant and it’s double the effectiveness. So happy I purchased this! I have no issues except I wish it came in a form that was easy to travel with (like a liquid). I bought the small travel bar too but it’s not as easy to just pack a wet bar of soap. Otherwise, love this product and will be using all the time.

Very effective for my teenage daughter!

My daughter has struggled with strong body odour (particularly underarm) throughout her teenage years, and this bar soap has been a game changer for her! She even has her boyfriend using it! I bough this larger set so that they could bother have some at their houses. Gentle on skin, leaves a great minty fresh scent, and no residue (like some bar soaps can).
