THE STAGES OF DETOX

If you are switching from antiperspirant to natural deodorant, there will be a transition period.

Week 1: On the first week of the transition, everything seems normal

Week 2: Studies show when you stop using antiperspirant, your body will temporarily produce more odor-causing bacteria. Use the underarm bar to manage the additional odor.

Week 3: Moisture levels start to normalize but some odor may remain.

Week 4: Your body should begin to adjust to using natural deodorant. Continue to use the takesumi detox system.

the charcoal deodorant is Step 2 of the takesumi detox^® system for excess odor and sweat protection:

STEP 1: the underarm bar
Lather bar and massage into each underarm in a circular motion for 30 seconds. If you have body hair, ensure the lather reaches the surface of the skin.

STEP 2: charcoal deodorant
Apply a generous layer of the takesumi detox^® charcoal deodorant to clean, dry skin. If you are switching from antiperspirant to natural deodorant, there will be a transition period (see The Stages of Detox).

STEP 3: the sweat powder
Apply a generous layer of the sweat powder over top of your deodorant for extra protection against excess perspiration.

Precautions: Discontinue use if irritation develops or persists. Do not use on broken skin. Do not use immediately after shaving. Avoid eye contact or inhalation of the sweat powder product.

The charcoal is grey, will it stain my clothing?

Although the natural deodorant is grey, it goes on clear. There will be no white marks or yellow stains, as it is an aluminum-free deodorant.

Will I still sweat while using the takesumi detox?

The takesumi detox is a deodorant that will help keep body odor away; however, it cannot stop sweating. Aluminum is the main sweat blocking ingredient in antiperspirant and is not natural. The takesumi detox is an aluminum-free deodorant as aluminum clogs pores to prevent the natural process of sweating. Noticing a temporary excess of perspiration and body odor is normal since you need time to rebalance to start working normally again.

How long does the odor control last?

The takesumi detox charcoal deodorant fights odor causing bacteria for up to 12 hours.

I’m a super smelly person what can I do?

If you are needing extra odor protection while transitioning or for those intense workout days, use the underarm bar to give yourself an extra protective barrier from odor causing bacteria.

Is this deodorant only used as a detox?

It starts off as a detox but after you transition, use as a daily natural deodorant. Continue to use the takesumi detox charcoal deodorant after you have fully detoxed from your old deodorant or antiperspirant, to continue allowing toxins and bacteria to not build up under your underarms. The best deodorant I’ve ever tried

Ive been looking for a natural deodorant for a very long time. I came across Kaia naturals on tiktok and had to try. I love the takesumi detox charcoal deodorant, it really does neutralize odours, I cannot see myself using anything else!

Sakura Blossom is a great scent

I got the takesumi detox starter kit in the Sakura Blossom scent. I tend to be more of a citrus person but I think that scent was out when I ordered it, but the Sakura scent was delightful without being too strong. It would be great if the deodorants came in either plastic-free containers or refill options that had less plastic.
